Recently I had the honor and privilege of going to the beautiful town of Mont Tremblant to meet with Richard Boisclair, Michel Boisclair, Ben Cooper and staff.
I had a phenomenal time. Their operation is first class, and everyone that I came into contact with was professional and courteous.
Driving with and learning from Ben Cooper, who is arguably the best person to have ever driven a Rotax, was without a doubt an experience I’ll never forget. I learned more in those few days in the DD2 than I have in years. I will be applying what I learned and even changing my driving style, as I continue to practice for the World Finals. To say that this was a humbling experience would be an understatement. He has solidified positive abilities that I do have, and helped me to overcome some of my less than desirable habits.
The karting community is extremely lucky to have Ben Cooper and his team and his willingness to be available to us is priceless. Anyone who lives in North America and is serious about karting should take advantage of his expertise, and definitely schedule a time to learn from the best Rotax driver arguably ever!
Young or old, a one-on-one karting lesson with Ben will be something that will markedly improve your driving style and skills. If my kids raced karts I would have them training once a month with Ben, that’s how much I believe in his program. Truly awesome!
I will be taking my family with me to Mont Tremblant next summer and will race at that track. The town its self is amazing and reminds me of a small Vail or Beaver Creek, Colorado. The track is in my top 3 and that’s saying a lot!
